Tutankhamen's Discovery

Tutankhamen's tomb was discovered in November 4, 1922 by archaeologist Howard  and Lord Carnarvon. Tutankhamen died on 1327 BC and now its 2015! That's 3,342 years from when he died. Well here's more about Tutankhamen. His death mask is made of pure gold and blue glass. His beard on the death mask was accidentally hit and now there's glue on the beard and now it doesn't look like as it was. 


Tutankhamen's tomb has 4 cases, well it's middle case was put in a museum. When Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon went to discover the tomb, Lord Carnarvon got bit by a mosquito and Lord Carnarvon died. Tutankhamen was not really famous king in the ancient kingdom of Egypt but really famous in the digital age.


King Tut died aged 19 and became pharaoh when he was 8 or 9.     

Today, we are making inventions.


I made a trolley, a pencil holder trolley.

First we had to plan .

After that we had to revise our invention

 My invention looked like a weird trolley.

The Bird Lady

Today, the bird lady came to Pinehill School.

She brought a kereru, a tui, 3 silver eyes, goldfinches and a parrot called Alexander.

It was the most luxurious sight to see a nice nice tui. But it was a silly acting tui which went back in the box.

Next, we saw silver eyes in a cage and passed it to one and then the next one and so on. And same with the goldfinches.

When the morepork came it bit Sylvia and blood bubbled out, a bit, its beak was as sharp as a knife.

And finally a parrot came and stood on all of the teachers but it pooped on Sylvia. Yuck ! It was a gross as a stinky swamp.

When it was time to go Mrs Hook helped Sylvia and it was time to go back.

Baby Alice Visit 4 @ Rm19

Today Baby Alice came to Rm19. First we said " Hello Baby Alice and how are you". Then we weighed Alice. Her weight was 8 kg.


Next we gave Alice a ball far away from and she used her hand to get the ball.



After that we sang 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive.



Next Sally held Baby Alice upright and Baby Alice stayed with Sally for a few minutes.


Then we sang " Goodbye Alice."

My dad

My Dad , Haroon works at Vodafone.


He's nice because he bought me a video game called Xbox which I like so much. He bought me a lamp so we didn't sleep in the dark for a long time. He bought me almost everything. His office has a colour printer. He uses card to pay. He worked for 10 or 11 years. He knows 3 languages . His hobbies are his children. He lived in Pakistan and then shifted to New Zealand . He is very helpful and is wearing glasses for more than 10 years
My dad likes me and I like my dad.
I like my dad  because he bought me my favourite things.

The cute rabbits

Today 2 rabbits were in Room 16. The rabbits came after people who they thought were gentle. The rabbits had white ears , a black body , a white face , and 2 paw feet . The other rabbit was shy so he did not want to come to be pat . Mrs Hook said " If you haven't had a turn patting you can pat the rabbits " So the people who hadn't had a turn patting they did pat the rabbits. Then we had to go to Room 19.


Fixed the Error

The Mighty Adventure

In the nice bright sun a city called Seaport lived a guy called Bruce. He liked extreme camps. But one day he found a green teleporter.                                                                                                             He got all his gear in his black bag, got his food and ran into the teleporter rapidly. He ran into a wild jungle but he was going to hike Mt . Kilinmingaro. He was running to Mt . Kilinmangaro.                                                                                                       But a tiger came chasing after but Bruce reached the volcano. He got out his hiking gear and ran but it got weird.                                                                                                                                          First he ran in the mountain but an avalanche came. Next he found a rocky palace but it said '' Get out now ! ''.                                                                                                                                                   He went outside but he hiked up a rain forest with vicious tigers and tall giraffes but he  got an after because he stood on a tiger.                                                                                                                     He went up 56 metres  then he climbed up up and up and up and he reached the top.                                                                                                               He found a teleporter to a kingdom. It was the same kingdom but it took him to Seaport City. He went into it and it was night. He did everything to do and then slept silently.

The lighthouse video clip

The lighthouse keeper lived in a grey brick lighthouse. The reflected moon shone across the dark sky with the tiny stars in the air, looking small but enormous. The bright light shone across the huge town. the light had stopped shining so the lighthouse keeper got a lantern,ran up the stairs and saw that the gear had stopped. Next he looked inside the glass sphere and then carried it but it broke so the townspeople tiptoed to to shine the light and happily the ship moved right.

The Show

Today there was a show. In the show there were 2 people doing tricks.One was 34 and one was 38.The 38 year-old was being silly.The 34 year old was doing cool tricks and the 38 year-old was doing not so-cool-tricks. Then they did 3 warm-up tricks. Then they did tricks with a wheel. But the 38 year-old was saying ouch ouch ouch ouch. Then the 38 year-old kept on being naughty until the next trick. Then Miss McNae came to do some skipping. Then the 38 year old-guy was being silly. The acrobatic men were doing tricks with the skipping rope. The last trick was about climbing up 4 chairs and the 34 year-old did it.He had to throw the chairs.

My Lighthouse Construction

On Friday we were making our own lighthouses We used different materials to make them. This is what I used; A cardboard tube, A battery, 2 wires to connect my circuit, A bulb holder, A bulb and A box. First I used the box which my bulb holder would stand on. Then I sticked my bulb holder and then I put my bulb. I then sticked my battery to the cardboard tube. Then I put my wires on the battery. Then I put the wires on the bulb holder.

My Peaceful Room

I see a foamy mattress on a pine wood frame of a bed.A white wallpaper is as white as paper.An old fashioned drawer has my personal stuff.My comfy blanket is as soft as a kitten.There is a glass patio door and a greasy window with old grey looking curtains on both objects.A white wardrobe full of clothes and toys.A power saving LED bulb shines across my room.A nice little lamp with a little lever.I can not smell a thing with my wedgie - shaped nose.I hear the TV using hot electricity and the wet rain smashing on the ground angrily from the dark black sky.A warm quilt keeps me warm in cold climates.A rough blue carpet covers my whole peaceful room.My room's roof is white mixed up with a black colour.

Seal Investigation News

A seal came into the land in Auckland.It first came on the streets then the police came to investigate where the seal was in Pakapura. The seal was found on a street then put into a place where the seal would go out to sea. The seal went out to sea but came back but was found in a car wash.The fire people were keeping an eye on the seal.The police are still trying to get the seal back into the water.

Lighthouse letter

Dear Diary,

I am working in a little lighthouse with a deck.

I get tired of climbing up the stairs.

My lighthouse is a wooden lighthouse which is on a huge,enormous,rock.

I really hate it when the tide is on the rock is covered in water and it looks like what the lighthouse is standing like a bridge.

I have to put a dangerous liquid to power the light.

Once there lived a cat.
The cat was lonely.
The cat lived in a cave.
The cat was hungry.
So she found some food and it was an apple.
She took the apple to her home.
She locked the door of her house.
She liked the apple.
After she ate the apple she went out and locked the door.
She went to the river.
But when she went in the river a croc spotted her.
The croc chased her through the river into the trees onto the bridge but the cat crossed the bridge and the croc fell down and never came back again

Dear Diary,

It was as rotten fish when we went in the trench.We had to shoot for ages.We had a loot of food.The Turks threw a bunch of grenades.My friend got injured.We did not have enough water.

cape reianga lighthouse

The lighthouse was old.It had had a sign on it.The lighthouse was up north.I saw no house next to the lighthouse.It had a beacon on the top.It was next to a cliff.It is in Cape Reianga.I went there in February 2013.

The cat promblem

In a forest there lived 4 cats.The problem with them was that they hated each other.They fought with each other.1 cat ran to the city to be a pet.2 cats ran to a farm.The last cat stayed where he lived.One day the three cats decided to come back.When they came back there house was golden,had plenty of food that they liked.They all liked each other.
